Miletree Candles was launched in November 2020 by Shanice. When she was a young girl growing up her family would take her for walks along the beaches of Barbados. As she walked, the tall casuarina trees (Mile Trees) along the shoreline would make a tranquil whistling sound as the wind blew through their leaves. She strives to recreate that calm relaxing feeling as if you were on the beaches of Barbados, to everyone who lights a Miletree Candle. Each fragrance was influenced by her Caribbean heritage and the candle vessels were inspired by her love for home decor.
