Introducing Miletree Candles
Miletree Candles is a hand poured, home decor candle brand inspired by our Caribbean Heritage. Our candles contain the finest quality fragrance and essential oils to create one of a kind blends. We use a base sugar cane fragrance which is reminiscent of the sweet scent of newly cut sugar-cane fields on the island Barbados and a vegan coconut soy wax blend which is sustainable and represents the very essence of home in the islands. All of our packaging is eco-friendly and our candles are hand poured into ceramic vessels which we encourage everyone to reuse around your living or workspace.
Our Story
Miletree Candles was launched in November 2020 by Shanice. When she was a young girl growing up her family would take her for walks along the beaches of Barbados. As she walked, the tall casuarina trees (Mile Trees) along the shoreline would make a tranquil whistling sound as the wind blew through their leaves. She strives to recreate that calm relaxing feeling, to everyone who lights a Miletree Candle. Each fragrance was influenced by her Caribbean heritage and the candle vessels were inspired by her love for home decor.
